The Erasmus+ project "Fostering RefugEEs inclusion - FEEL" held its Second Transnational Meeting in Katerini, Greece, from January 15th to 18th, 2024.

This project, vital at both the European and participating country levels (Belgium, Italy, Czech Republic, and Greece), focuses on integrating refugees, with a special emphasis on Ukrainian individuals.

Hosted at the Laboratory Center of Katerini (E.K. Katerinis), the meeting commenced with a welcoming address from the center's director. The Greek educational team provided insights into the school's framework and the Katerini and Piera regions. This was followed by a tour of the center's labs.

The agenda introduced discussions on the Best Practices Desk Research findings, conducted across all participant nations, concerning Ukrainian refugees' integration into education and community life. Research and focus group outcomes were shared, detailing the current circumstances, challenges, potential solutions, and perceptions of parents, students, teachers, school heads, and social agencies.

A significant portion of the meeting was devoted to planning the upcoming training session in Rakovnik, Czech Republic, scheduled for April. Each country agreed to address a specific project-related topic and conduct a class session.

On the second day, the group visited the NGO Volunteer Action Team of Katerini at "Kapnikos Stathmos." The tour, led by the team leader, included detailed explanations of their operations and activities. The day concluded with preparations for the Czech Republic training session, focusing on activity planning and strategy development.

The meeting wrapped up with discussions on management, dissemination, communication policies, future project steps, and participant feedback on the TPM.
